When you spawn turn around and head towards the water running into a ravine. You’ll find a 100+ blocks deep cave that goes on for miles and miles with multiple mineshafts, endless sea of water and lava, and most importantly diamonds, there will be 3 diamond blocks the moment you go down the water stream running into the cave.

If you need food and gear walk past the ravine and head a little ahead, you’ll see a village with a house on the top of a little mountain. From there you’ll also spot a ruined portal.
