I originally chose this seed because the 0,0 was very close to an island and was very easy to navigate back home.
In 1.8, spawn Point is near the village at 228,0 and provides food and a iron sword to start with.
On the 0,0 island close to the surface is a zombie spawner … but if you dig a little deeper you will find 2 more (1 zombie and 1 skeleton).
I found mineshafts in every direction with tons of loot.
You can find Jungle, Mesa, Ice and Mooshroom island nearby.
